Techtonic Enterprises Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as TEPL /We) understands the importance of privacy for its users.  

The following constitutes the Privacy Policy of TEPL. By visiting, using and accessing our website www.techtonicedu.com(hereinafter referred to as the ‘Website’), you acknowledge to have read and accepted and thereby consented to the practices and policies envisaged in this Privacy Policy. We store and process your information including any sensitive financial information collected as under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rules thereunder.  

Kindly note, that our Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time without notice. We shall take all reasonable measures to inform you of the updated policy without delay. Nonetheless, kindly review this policy periodically to make sure you are aware of changes made thereto.  

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to summons, court orders, or other legal process. We may disclose personal information to law enforcement offices and third-party rights owners in good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary.

Note: In general, you can browse the Website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. Once you give us your personal information you are not anonymous to us.

The information, personal to the users, provided to or gathered by TEPL under this Privacy Policy will be stored and controlled by TEPL.

We gather your information, which is provided by you from time to time, in order to provide you a safe, efficient, smooth and customized/personalized experience on the website and continually improve your experience at TEPL. We use your information in handling orders, delivering products and services, processing payments, communicating with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers, updating our records and generally maintaining your accounts with us, display content such as recommended products that might be of interest to you. We also use this information to improve our platform, prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our website and enable third parties to carry out technical, logistical or other functions on our behalf.

 

Information gathered by Us  

The personal information that you give us includes name, billing address, mobile number, email ID inter alia.  

We gather the automatic information, for example “cookies”, provided to us whenever you interact with us and we obtain certain types of information when your web browser accesses our website. We may use this information for internal analysis and to provide you with location-based services, such as advertising, search results, and other personalized content. We implement Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting and automatically track certain information about you based on your behavior on our website. We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand, protect and serve our users. This information is compiled and analyzed in an aggregated basis. This information may include the URL that you just came from, which URL you next go to, your computer browser information, and your IP address.  

Using the Ads Settings, the Users can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads. The Users can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google Analytics' currently available opt-outs for the web.

We often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from TEPL if your computer supports such capabilities.  

When you choose to post messages or leave feedback or post a review or a comment, we retain that information as necessary to resolve disputes, provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law. Further, if you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

We may be required to share the aforesaid information with government authorities and agencies for the purposes of verification of identity or for prevention, detection or investigation, including of cyber incidents, prosecution and punishment of offences. You agree and consent for TEPL to disclose your information, if so required, under applicable law.

We do not ask for the following details from a customer at any given point: (a) Net banking or Card transaction OTP; (b) Debit/Credit card CVV; (c) Password related to banking or UPI IDs; (d) Remote access to any of the customer's personal devices or accounts.

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as ‘Recommended for You’ and storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.

Sharing of the Information received  

Information about our customers is an important part of our business.

We work closely with affiliated businesses in some cases, such as payment gateways, after sales service providers etc.  You can tell when a third party is involved in your transactions and we share customer information related to those transactions with that third party only.

We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts network information you input in addition to maintaining security of your information as per the TLS1.2. We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.  

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personal information (including sensitive personal information). Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you. TEPL gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with TEPL for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information. This list will change as our website evolves.

Moreover, as discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information to take advantage of such TEPL features as Your Profile, Wish Lists and recommended lists.

This website may use Google AdWords & Facebook remarketing service to advertise on third party websites to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site.
